Reading tickets and posts

The more you work with forums and or support desks the more you realise the sad demise of any real level of attention or help. All too common nowadays is the propensity to NOT read what has been written but to simply respond with the easiest answer possible, even if that is not what was asked.

I guess it’s the old palm them off with any old answer and see if they sort things out themselves ploy, if it’s a real issue they will be back in touch – it’s an old trick but one that really pisses one of having prepared detailed questions with care.
